INDICATIONS
Zantac is used for treating certain problems that cause your body to create too much stomach acid (eg, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome). It is also accustomed to treat ulcers with the small intestine which have not taken care of immediately other treatment. It might be used as being a short-term substitute for oral ranitidine, in patients that are not able to take medicine by mouth. Zantac is definitely an H2-receptor blocker. It works by blocking the action of histamine in the stomach. This cuts down on volume of acid the stomach makes. Reducing stomach acid reduces heartburn, heal irritation with the esophagus, and heal ulcers with the stomach or intestines.

STORAGE
