INDICATIONS
Prilosec is employed for treating heartburn or irritation of the esophagus brought on by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It may also be used for short-term management of ulcers from the stomach or small intestines. It may also be utilized with certain antibiotics to deal with ulcers with the small intestines also to help alleviate problems with them from coming back. It may also supply to treat issues that cause your body to make a lot of stomach acid (eg, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome). Prilosec is often a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by decreasing the level of acid created in the stomach.

STORAGE
Store Prilosec at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store within the bathroom. Keep Prilosec out of the reach of children and far from pets.
